CCD INFORMATION

TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR CCD PLEASE FOLLOW THESE REQUIREMENTS:

ü Must be registered at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church or Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bertram.

ü The parents must attend a meeting when scheduled.

ü For the upcoming year we will be offering a class for the parents and our parishioners you are invited to be part of this project. A schedule of dates will soon be provided.

ü Child must attend one mass each weekend because it is part of our spiritual life. Vatican Council II says: "Taking part in the Eucharistic sacrifice, which is the apex and fount of the whole Christian life, the faithful offer the Divine Victim to God and offer themselves with it" (Const. on the Church No. 11).

Pre-K: We cannot offer Pre-Kindergarten age children classes.

Drop-offs: For your child and yours security please “do not drop your child off earlier than 5:15 p.m. for the first session and 6:45 for the second”.

Pick up: The first session ends at 6:45 p.m. Second session ends at 8:15 p.m. Try to pick up your child on time.

Attendance: We encourage you and your children to attend at least 80% of classes. Otherwise the year will not count as completed.

Fee: We can discuss at the time of enrollment.

Altar Servers: Young men and women, 3rd grade through 9th grade, are eligible to become altar servers. It is an honor to serve God by serving Him at His altar of sacrifice.
